  10. I have a Micron Magnum 486DX2 66 with a USR Sportster 14.4 internal 
  11. modem.  It has been working fine until couple days ago, when I was
  12. using SLIP, something went wrong and the modem was messed up (don't know
  13. what it was).  Now everytime I tried to connect, the relay would go 
  14. clicking but there was no dial tone. Computer would report "There was 
  15. no dial tone".  I checked out the BIOS setup, the window's COM PORT
  16. and IRQ setup, and the setup in the communication utilities (I tried to
  17. use the "terminal" coming with the windows 3.1 and Quick-Link II).
  18. but nothing worked.

  20. Can anyone out there give me a clue what's the problem?
